My Zee Lifestyle

Definition of terms:

Zee   - is the phonetic pronunciation of the letter Z.
tween - preadolescence, stage between middle childhood and               adolescence

I start by writing about my four children whose names all starts with the letter Z.  As early as now, I have to admit that their names does sound and look complicated just with the spelling alone.  But hey, I was young and careless then and didn't care when I had made up of their names specially with my first born.  I only thought I'd like it unique and one of a kind and so it is.  Now, as dazing as their names may be, I find it specially surprising that they are very organized and so put together. Which are traits that's just my exact opposite coz I'm so all over the place. I'm even blessed with a husband who from time to time (almost all the time) picks up scattered toys and cleans the toilet.

Zjephan "Zef" Jansen, 2 mos. old
He is my serious one. He has a million dollar smile and only gives it when he feels like it and when he does, it simply melts your heart.

Zjavier "ZJ" Jay, 22 mos. old
This boy is all about knowing everything he sees and hears. I could rant forever about my ZJ and all his eagerness to learn even at his age. His being inquisitive about many things, from insects to flags of the world, has taught me patience and prods me to learn also.

Zjiana Tracy, 12 yrs. old

Tracy is my only princess and my number 1 fan.  She follows me on twitter and likes my status on Facebook.  Now, she wears clothes that I have outgrown which  had led me to name her after my online store and work on a project that would cater to tweens like her. Simply put, she's a strong inspiration of my dreams and who I want to be. :-)
Zjiane Troy, 13 yrs. oldMy eldest son of many talents. It amazes me because whatever he does or whenever he starts to do, he puts his heart into it and the outcome is always close to perfection.  Right now, he is very passionate about his dancing. Together with his sister, Tracy, they've been bagging medals and awards in Dancesport competitions. (I am very excited and proud to blog about this in the next months to come.)

These are my children whom I am so crazy about.  Yeah, at times they drive me nuts and puts a test to my patience almost all the time specially since the obvious age gaps.  Sometimes, I find myself transitioning from being a cool mom to my preteens then to being a playmate for my toddler then to being a nurturing mom for my infant.  Everyday is a great challenge but I always treat each day as another learning experience for me to a better mom to them.  It isn't an easy job at all but I find it a great joy to play a vital role in my children's achievements and developments.    I am not perfect at all and I am very aware that the road ahead is not all beds of roses so I am in hope for some advice and tips on how to be better parents. :-)
